JOSEPH HAWKINS, of Helensville, Auckland, New Zealand, Joiner, has deposited at this office a specification of
the said invention; and I have appointed Thursday, the
10th day of March, next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this
office, to hear the said application and all objections thereto ;
and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the
grant of such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the
23rd day of February next, at this office, particulars in
writing of their objections to the said application, otherwise
they will be precluded from urging the same.

Gold-mining Leases to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The
Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under
that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes,
it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant leases of
Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicants
specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid
objections against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating the
grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged
with the Warden at Reefton on or before the 15th day of
December, 1886.

Copy of the applications made and plans annexed may be
seen at the Warden’s Office at Reefton.
