THE following special order, made by the Hunua Road Board, County of Manukau, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER passed by the Hunua Road Board, at a Special Meeting held on the 30th October, 1886, at 7 o’clock p.m.

THAT this Board do adopt “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” in its entirety.

I certify that the above special order has been duly passed by the Hunua Road Board, in conformity with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.”

THIS Board hereby, by special order, adopt generally within the district the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.” Such special order to take effect immediately upon the gazetting thereof.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed on the 18th day of September, 1886, and duly confirmed on the 23rd day of October, 1886.

At a special meeting of this Board held on the 2nd November, 1886, it was resolved that “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” be adopted in the Waimata Road District.

I hereby certify that all the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” in reference to special order have been complied with for the purpose of adopting the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.”

Special Order made by Waimata Road Board, County of Cook.—Levying Special Rate.

THE following special order, made by the Waimata Road Board, County of Cook, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

THAT a special rate of ¾d. in the pound be made upon Sections 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, Block F, Whataupoko, Suburbs of North Gisborne; Sections 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, Block G, Whataupoko, Suburbs of North Gisborne; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, Pouawa, Block A, Waimata Road District, for the purpose of constructing the Pouawa Road. The rate to continue for a period of three years, commencing on the 1st November, 1886, and ending on the 31st October, 1889, to be due and payable in two equal instalments on the 31st March and the 30th September in each year respectively.

I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been made in terms of section 121 of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” and that all the requirements of law have been complied with.

THE following special order, made by the Council of the County of Waitaki, is published in accordance with the provisions of “The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.”

THAT this Council do now, by special order, declare that, on and after the 1st day of December next, the Kakanui Road Board shall be dissolved, and the said road district merged in the County of Waitaki.
