A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Public Reserves Sale Act, 1882,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale under the provisions of the ninety-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and I do hereby further declare that the sale shall not take place until after the expiration of three months from the date of the issue of the first notice by the Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Land District of Canterbury.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 28 perches, being part of Section No. 370 (in red), situate in the Rangiora Survey District. Bounded towards the North by Section No. 6676, 408 links; towards the East by Section No. 8194, 2017 links; towards the South by Section No. 4295, 364 links; and towards the West by Section No. 8120, 2433 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

Bounded towards the North by Section No. 317, 378 links; towards the East by Section No. 10090, 616 links; towards the South by a road-line, 409 links; and towards the West by Section No. 10089, 567 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of November, 1886.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that, on and after the date above mentioned, the roads enumerated and described in the Schedule hereunder written shall become county roads.
SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Woodville to Palmerston Road, from the Manawatu Gorge Bridge to the Lower Ferry (hereinafter called “the said road”), which lies within, passes through, or abuts upon the County of Wairarapa East.

All that portion of the said road which lies within, passes through, or abuts upon the County of Waipawa.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the Greymouth to Hokitika Railway shall and may be constructed on or through the parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
