IVANHOE GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

OTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of the Shareholders held this day at the
office of the company, the following resolution was passed:—
Resolved, “That the capital of the company be increased
by the issue of 4,000 new shares of the nominal value of ten
shillings each, of which amount one shilling and sixpence
per share is to be considered as paid up, the said 4,000 shares
to be allotted to the Shareholders of the Scott Gold and
Silver Mining Company (Limited), in exchange for their mine
and plant.”

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL.
To Charles Ewen, Esq., and others whom it may concern.

OTICE is hereby given, in terms of Part II., “Public
Works Act, 1882,” and subsequent Acts amending the
same, that the Waikato County Council propose to take land
through which a public-road culvert has been constructed,
and for the purpose of widening the Hamilton—Cambridge
Main Road, a certain portion of land, the property of Charles
Ewen, Esq., of the Parish of Tamahere, Cambridge Road
District, County of Waikato, situated next to and abutting
on the west side of the Mangaone Creek, being portion of
Section No. 3, Parish of Tamahere, opposite to Section 53 in
the said parish. The said piece or parcel of land contains
by admeasurement 23 perches, more or less, and lies between
the road and creek before mentioned.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth, in
writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such
land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the
date of this notice, to the Chairman of the Waikato County
Council.
A plan and particulars of the land proposed to be taken
may be inspected, at reasonable hours, at the Post Office,
Tamahere.

OTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between HERBERT SOUTHEY and GILBERT
JOHN WILLY, trading together as Sawmillers and Timber
Merchants, at Hawera and Mangawhero, in the Provincial
District of Taranaki, under the style or firm of “Southey
and Co.,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and
the firm has now ceased to carry on such business. All
accounts owing to the said firm are requested to be paid to
Mr. H. Southey, and all moneys due by the same will be
paid by him.

T an extraordinary general meeting of the Shareholders
of the above-named company, duly convened and held
at the Terminus Hotel, Picton, on the 25th day of October,
1886, JOHN AITKEN CONNELL, of Auckland, Accountant, was
appointed Co-liquidator with John Milne, of Auckland,
Accountant, in the place of John Henry Dalton, resigned ;
and the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed :
“That the Liquidators be authorized to make compromises
with contributories and debtors of the said company, as
mentioned in section 221 of the Companies Act.”
