OPAHEKE ROAD DISTRICT, MANUKAU COUNTY.

NOTICE is hereby given that, under the provisions of
“ The Public Works Act, 1882,” it is the intention of
the Opaheke Road Board to take land for a road, one chain
wide, through the following properties, viz., Lots 205, 206,
209, and 93, Parish of Opaheke.
Plan, showing line of proposed road, is open for inspection
at the Post Office, Opaheke.
The works proposed to be executed are clearing, forming,
&c.
All persons affected by the proposed road are hereby called
upon and required to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objection to the execution of such works or the taking of such
land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the said Opaheke Road
Board, Opaheke.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

PURSUANT to an order of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand, for its Canterbury District, made on the tenth
day of September, 1886, in the matter of the estate of
ROBERT WILKIN, and in a cause AGNES JOHNSTONE WIL-
KIN, JOHN BARKER WILKIN, and ROBERT WILKIN, on be-
half of themselves and all other the creditors of the said
Robert Wilkin, against THOMAS WILLIAM MAUDE and JOHN
DEANS, the Executors of the said Robert Wilkin, late of
Christchurch, in the said district, and lately carrying on
business there under the style of “ Robert Wilkin and Co.,”
as Merchants, who died in or about the month of June last
past, are, on or before Thursday, the thirty-first day of
March, 1887, to send, by post prepaid, to Messrs. Wynn
Williams and Deacon, of 211, Hereford Street, Christchurch,
in the said district, Solicitors for the Plaintiffs, or to Messrs.
Harper and Co., of 215, Hereford Street aforesaid, Solicitors
for the Defendants, the Executors of the deceased, their
Christian and surnames, addresses, and descriptions, the full
particulars of their claims, a statement of their accounts,
and the nature of the securities (if any) held by them, or in
default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from the
benefit of the said order. Every creditor holding any
security is to produce the same before the Registrar of the
said Court, at his chambers, situate in Durham Street, in
Christchurch aforesaid, on Thursday, the twenty-eighth day
of April next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, being the
time appointed for adjudicating on the claims.

NOTICE is hereby given that His Honour Mr. Justice
Williams has, this day, appointed Mr. GEORGE
FREDERICK ROWLEY BURCHER, of Sydney, in the Colony of
New South Wales, Solicitor, to be and act as a Commissioner
in the said Colony of New South Wales of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand for the purpose of taking oaths, affidavits,
and affirmations under and within the meaning of the Com-
missioners of “ The Supreme Court Act, 1875.”

per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day
preceding publication.
