NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land herein-
after described will be brought under the provisions
of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged
forbidding the same on or before the 22nd day of November,
1886.

OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.

In the matter of “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court
Act, 1875.”
NOTICE is hereby given that, by an order dated the
twelfth day of October, 1886, his Honour Mr. Justice
Williams, Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand,
Otago and Southland District, has appointed Thomas
Edward Johnson, of Silvertown, in the Colony of New South
Wales, Solicitor, to be a Commissioner of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand for the purpose of administering and taking,
in New South Wales, any oaths and affirmations in an
action now pending in the Supreme Court of New Zealand
wherein the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited) are
Plaintiffs, and Thomas Hunter, of Silvertown, in New South
Wales, and William Hunter, of Dunedin, in the Colony of
New Zealand, are Defendants.

Chambers, Burnett Street, Ashburton, on Thursday, the
23rd day of December, 1886, at 2 o'clock in the after-
noon, for the purpose of receiving an account prepared by me
showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company
has been conducted and the property of the company dis-
posed of, and hearing any explanation thereof which may be
necessary.

THE AUCKLAND BRICK AND TILE COMPANY
(LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general
meeting of the above-named company, duly convened
and held at the office of Mr. J. Barber, Victoria Arcade
Buildings, Auckland, on the 11th day of October instant,
the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meet-
ing that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and accordingly that the company be wound up
voluntarily.”
And at the same meeting Joseph Barber, of Auckland,
Accountant, and William Henry Cooper, of Auckland,
Agent, were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such
winding up.
