Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 38 perches,
more or less, situate in the Otama Survey District, and
being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the south-eastern
portion of the Weiti No. 1 Block, No. 2043A; commencing at
a point on the south-western boundary of the aforesaid block
at a distance of 1100 links or thereabouts from Whitianga
Harbour, being the middle of the road above referred to;
and thence continuing north-easterly for a distance of 985
links or thereabouts to Whitianga Harbour: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on
Plan No. 3919, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 27th January, 1885.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 18 perches
and 1 acre and 12 perches respectively, more or less, situate
in the Otama Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100
links wide, traversing the Whaakau Block, No. 1725:β€”

Portion containing 1 acre 1 rood 18 perches: Commencing
at a point on the eastern boundary of the Whaakau Block
at a distance of 1100 links or thereabouts from Whitianga
Harbour, being the middle of the road above referred to;
and thence continuing south-westerly for a distance of 1365
links or thereabouts to the north-eastern boundary of the
Karamuramu Block at a distance of 1175 links or there-
abouts from Whitianga Harbour.

Portion containing 1 acre and 12 perches: Commencing
at a point on the south-eastern side of the road hereinbefore
described at a distance of 800 links or thereabouts from the
north-eastern boundary of the Whaakau Block, being the
middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing
south-easterly for a distance of 1065 links or thereabouts to
Whitianga Harbour.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are
delineated on Plan No. 3919, deposited in the Survey Office
at Auckland.

Date of warrant, 27th January, 1885.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
ington, this eleventh day of October, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-six.

specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 2 roods 11
perches, more or less, situate in the Patutahi Survey District,
and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Papatu
Block; commencing at a point on the northern boundary of
the Papatu Block at a distance of 31 chains or thereabouts
from the north-western angle of the Whakatare Block, being
the middle of the road above referred to; and thence con-
tinuing southerly generally for a distance of 13575 links or
thereabouts to Te Arai Stream: be all the aforesaid linkages
