THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned HERBERT GAMBLE and EDWARD SMITH, as Photographers at Christchurch, under the firm of “Gamble and Co.,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due and owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said Edward Smith, whose receipt will be a sufficient discharge.

As witness our hands, this 6th day of October, 1886.

I, WILLIAM WYCLIFFE LINNEY, Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians of London, and Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and a duly-registered Medical Practitioner of Great Britain, residing at Hastings, do now give notice of my intention of applying, on the 25th day of October, 1886, to have my name placed on the Register of Medical Practitioners in the Colony of New Zealand; and I have this day deposited with the Registrar at Napier the evidence of my qualification in terms of “The Medical Practitioners Act, 1869.”

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of £2 per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
