I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Progress Gold-mining Company as a Limited Company, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1886.”

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, CANTERBURY DISTRICT.
PURSUANT to an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, for its Canterbury District, made on the tenth day of September, 1886, in the matter of the estate of ROBERT WILKIN, and in a cause AGNES JOHNSTONE WILKIN, JOHN BARKER WILKIN, and ROBERT WILKIN, on behalf of themselves and all other the creditors of the said Robert Wilkin, against THOMAS WILLIAM MAUDE and JOHN DEANS, the Executors of the said Robert Wilkin, late of Christchurch, in the said district, and lately carrying on business there under the style of “Robert Wilkin and Co.,” as Merchants, who died in or about the month of June last past, are, on or before Thursday, the thirty-first day of March, 1887, to send, by post prepaid, to Messrs. Wynn Williams and Deacon, of 211, Hereford Street, Christchurch, in the said district, Solicitors for the Plaintiffs, or to Messrs. Harper and Co., of 215, Hereford Street aforesaid, Solicitors for the Defendants, the Executors of the deceased, their Christian and surnames, addresses, and descriptions, the full particulars of their claims, a statement of their accounts, and the nature of the securities (if any) held by them, or in default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from the benefit of the said order. Every creditor holding any security is to produce the same before the Registrar of the said Court, at his chambers, situate in Durham Street, in Christchurch aforesaid, on Thursday, the twenty-eighth day of April next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, being the time appointed for adjudicating on the claims.

AT a meeting of the above company, held the 28th September, 1886, duly convened, the resolution that Roberts Patent Sanitary Process Company (Limited) be voluntarily wound up, which was passed at a previous meeting, was confirmed, and Mr. GEORGE H. MORLEY appointed Liquidator.

CAMBRIDGE ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE UNDER “THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1882.”
IT is proposed to take, for the purpose of making a road, a certain portion of land, the property of Mr. C. Ewen, of Tamahere, situated next to and abutting on the west side of the Mangaore Creek, being portion of Allotment No. 3, Parish of Tamahere, opposite to Section No. 53, Parish of Tamahere. Said piece or parcel of land contains by admeasurement 26 perches, more or less, and lies between the present main Hamilton–Cambridge Road and the creek before mentioned. Any objections to this proposal must be made in writing, within forty days from this date, to the Chairman of the Cambridge Road Board.
Plans of land to be taken can be seen at the residence of the Clerk to the Cambridge Road Board at Kirikiri roa.

NGAIRE ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Ngai re Road Board, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to take a portion of land, as described in the accompanying Schedule, from Section 56, Block VI., Ngai re Survey District, for the purpose of deviating the Climie Road. And notice is further given that a plan of the land required to be taken for the said deviation is deposited at the office of the Ngai re Road Board, in the County of Hawera, and is there open for inspection. And notice is hereby given that all persons having any objections to the taking of such land must set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Ngai re Road Board at Stratford.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, situated in the Ngai re Survey District, Block VI., being portion of Section 56, commencing at a point 124·7 links from the south-west corner of the said section. Bounded generally Northerly by lines, 656·7 and 495·8 links respectively; thence generally Southerly by lines, 462·2 links and 811·3 links respectively, to the commencing-point.

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between WILLIAM FREDERICK KNIGHT, ARTHUR COWPER KNIGHT, FRANCIS JOHN KNIGHT, BENJAMIN LEONARD KNIGHT, and HERBERT DOUGLAS KNIGHT, at Hastings, Clive, Te Aute, and Tahoraite, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, as Contractors, Timber Merchants, and Sheepfarmers, under the style or firm of “Knight Brothers,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business of the firm heretofore carried on at Hastings aforesaid will be carried on by the said Benjamin Leonard Knight, to whom all debts due to the said firm in connection with the said Hastings business are to be paid, and by whom the liabilities of the said firm in connection with the said Hastings business are to be discharged. The debts due to the said firm in connection with their business, other than the said Hastings business, are to be paid to the said William Frederick Knight, Arthur Cowper Knight, and Francis John Knight, by whom all the liabilities of the firm, other than the liabilities of the said Hastings business as aforesaid, are to be discharged.
Dated at Hastings aforesaid, this first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.
