There are no particular directions to be observed in the use of them. Containing nothing deleterious they can be taken as freely as requisite. One or two lozenges dissolved gradually in the mouth, repeating if necessary, will almost invariably give immediate relief in many cases of hoarseness, or loss of voice, coughs, irritation or soreness of the throat, etc., occasioned by cold or unusual exertion of the vocal organs. For Bronchitis, asthma, etc., of long standing it will be necessary to take them frequently as occasion requires.”
