A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the one hundred and thirty-fifth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land enu-
merated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease,
with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of
"The Land Act, 1885."

Land set apart for Village Special Settlement for Perpetual
Leasing in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of
"The Land Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the sections of land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are
hereby set apart and declared open for application as a village
special settlement for perpetual leasing on Friday, the third
day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six,
upon the terms and conditions fixed by an Order in Council
issued on the second day of June, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-six, and made under the one hundred and
sixty-third section of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

All that area in the Rodney Survey District, Provincial
District of Auckland, containing 2,480 acres, bounded as
follows: Northerly by Sections Nos. 91 to 26; Easterly by a
road, by Sections Nos. 23 to 25, and by the sea; Southerly
by the Whangateau Harbour and Section No. 29; Westerly
by Sections Nos. 65 to 68, 72, 73, and 92. To be selected in
areas not exceeding 50 acres for each person over seventeen
years of age. At a rental of 1s. per acre per annum.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Opua whanga Survey District.

All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Provincial
District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 790 acres,
more or less, and being portions of Blocks VI., VIII., and
IX., Opua whanga Survey District. Bounded towards the
North-east generally by the Whananaki Inlet, by the cross-
ing of a road reserve 100 links, by Section No. 1 of Block IX.
aforesaid 393, 2091, and 100 links, by the crossing of a
road reserve 160 links, and again by Whananaki Inlet;
towards the East generally by the Te Oriwa Stream and the
Ko-oriwa Block (No. 316), 1145 links; towards the South by
a right line from the south-western angle of the block last
mentioned to the south-eastern angle of Section No. 5 of
Block VIII., Opua whanga Survey District, 8200 links;
towards the West by said Section No. 5, 6718 links; towards
the North by a line running due east from the north-eastern
angle of the said section last mentioned, 268 links; and
thence again towards the West by a line running due north,
4200 links, to the point of commencement: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less. To be selected in areas not
exceeding 50 acres for each person over seventeen years of
age. At a rental of 1s. per acre per annum.
