THE Partnership between ARTHUR WILLIAM FOLLETT HALCOMBE and HUGH LIND SHERWILL, as Auctioneers and Land Agents, carrying on business at Feilding, Manawatu, under the name of “Halcombe and Sherwill,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent; Mr. A. W. F. Halcombe undertaking to meet all liabilities of the late firm, and being authorized to realize all its assets.
As witness our hands this fifth day of August, 1886.

I, HENRY ANGUS, Bachelor of Medicine and Master in Surgery of the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, now residing in Dunedin, in the Provincial District of Otago, hereby give you notice that it is my intention to apply to you, on the seventh day of September, 1886, to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited my evidence of qualification for public inspection in the office of the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, in Dunedin.

I, JOHN HARWOOD HOOPER, of Auckland, Master in Surgery of the University of London, 1865, Doctor of Medicine of the University of London, 1870, and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, 1865, having deposited evidence of my qualifications with the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, at Auckland, this twenty-third of July, 1886, hereby give notice that I intend to apply to him to be registered under “The Medical Practitioners Act, 1869,” on the third day of September, 1886.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the Hollard Jam-manufacturing Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a general meeting of the Hollard Jam-manufacturing Company (Limited), held pursuant to notice, on Saturday, the 24th July, 1886, at Petone, a resolution was unanimously passed,—
“That the Hollard Jam-manufacturing Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. John Hollard be appointed Liquidator;” and that such resolution has this day been confirmed at a further general meeting of shareholders of the said company, held at Petone, pursuant to notice, this 9th day of August, 1886.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the Shareholders of the above-named company will be held at the residence of Mr. John Hollard, Nelson Street, Petone, on Monday, the 18th day of October, 1886, at 7 o’clock in the evening, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
