SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the County of Piako, containing by admeasurement 45 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 15, Block IX., Te Aroha Survey District. Bounded towards the North-west by a line, being the production in a north-easterly direction of the north-western boundary of Section No. 16 of the said Block IX., 2300 links; towards the North-east by a line bearing east 51° 15' south, 2271 links; towards the South-east by the production of the northern side of Wilson Street, and by that street, 3841 links; again towards the North-west and towards the South-west by the said Section No. 16, 1358 links and 1100 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan in the Survey Office, Auckland.
Native Land taken for a Portion of the North Island Main Trunk Line of Railway from a Point at or near Marton to Te Awamutu, via Murimotu, Taumarunui, and the Ongaruhu River Valley (Portion of Porewa Contract).

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of July, 1886.

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the North Island Main Trunk Line of Railway, from a point at or near Marton to Te Awamutu, via Murimotu, Taumarunui, and the Ongaruhu River Valley (portion of Porewa Contract), shall and may be constructed on or through the parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Terms and Conditions of Sale of a Village Settlement in the Hokonui District, Southland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this third day of August 1886.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
Whereas by the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of "The Land Act, 1885," it is enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand has, by Proclamation, set apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto for sale as a village settlement:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby fix the following terms and conditions upon which the said village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same, that is to say,—

The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of as village allotments for cash.

The day upon which the lands shall be open for application shall be Wednesday, the eight day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, at the Land Office, Invercargill.

The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold for cash immediately on purchase.

No person shall be allowed to acquire more than one section.

If there should be more than one application for any allotment, the right to purchase the same shall be determined by lot amongst the applicants.

The purchaser of any lands described in the Schedule, upon the full payment of the purchase-money, will be entitled to his Crown grant, to be issued in the usual way upon payment of the fees prescribed by law.

The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of as small-farm allotments upon deferred payments.

The day upon which the lands shall be open for application shall be Wednesday, the eighth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, at the School-house, Oban, Stewart Island.

The lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold on deferred payments, subject to the provisions relating to suburban lands of Part III. of "The Land Act, 1885."

No person shall be allowed to acquire more than one section.

The prices stated in the Schedule hereto shall be the prices at which the lands shall be open for application.

If there should be more than one application for any allotment, the right to purchase the same shall be determined by lot amongst the applicants.

Each applicant for a deferred-payment section in the Schedule will be required to make the declaration prescribed by section one hundred and thirteen of "The Land Act, 1885," and shall at the time of application deposit with the Receiver of Land Revenue for the Southland Land District one-tenth of the price of the allotment.
