Also part of Kaunearuruwahine Blocks, as gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette No. 41, of the 26th May, 1881: All that parcel of land situate in the Whangape Survey District, Land District of Auckland, containing 4,660 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by Sections Nos. 1, 2, and 3, Block V., of the district aforesaid, 11295 links; towards the East and South-east by Native land 2612, 10313, 3725, 2377, and 9600 links, by a stream, again by Native land 989, 3066, 1102, 1613, 437, 870, 800, 189, 3329, 4809, 663, 2320, 2228, 1622, and 772 links; towards the South by the Hokianga Survey District, 1550 links; and towards the West by lines 33450, 850, 4800, and 1350 links, and by the Rotoka-kahi Block 600, 1101, and 3614 links.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of January, 1886.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by "The Property Assessment Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby make the following regulation for the purposes of the said Act, that is to say,—
The public notice directed to be given by section thirty-eight of the said Act shall be in the form set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

"PROPERTY ASSESSMENT ACT, 1885."

In accordance with the above Act, notice is hereby given that the day of is the time, and my office, Government Buildings, Wellington, is the place, at which all persons in the colony are required, in accordance with the said Act, to furnish statements of all real and personal property belonging to them.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance of the power and authority vested in me under "The Property Assessment Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do hereby make the following regulation for the purposes of the said Act, that is to say,—
The form of statement of property required by the said Act to be made by insurance companies other than life insurance companies shall be that set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

STATEMENT of the Insurance Company, by the Public Officer thereof, for the purposes of "The Property Assessment Act, 1885."

Total amount of premiums received by the £ s. d. company for and in respect of all fire, marine, guarantee, and accident policies, contracts, or engagements, for year ended the 31st December, 188 .. ..

Total amount of premiums paid by the company for re-insurance in respect of the said policies, contracts, or engagements, for year ended the 31st December, 188 (exclusive of amounts paid to companies not carrying on business within the colony) .. ..

I, , being the Public Officer of the Insurance Company, do hereby solemnly and sincerely declare that the above statement is true and accurate in all particulars. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and under and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in him by "The Cemeteries Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1885," and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby delegate to the Council of the County of Bruce the powers conferred upon him by section six of "The Cemeteries Act, 1882," as to the appointment and removal of Trustees for the cemeteries described in the Schedule hereto, and known as the Clarendon and Waihola Cemeteries respectively; and doth declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the first day of February next.

SCHEDULE.

CLARENDON CEMETERY.

All that area in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 1 perch, more or less, situate in the Clarendon Survey District, being Section No. 43, Block II., on the map of the said district. Bounded towards the North-east by Section No. 39, 833 links; towards the South-east by Section No. 1 of 37, 601 links; towards the South-west by Section No. 38, 834 links; and towards the North-west by a road-line in Waihola Township, 601 links: as the same is delineated on the plans in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

WAIHOLA CEMETERY.

All that area in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, situate in the Waihola Survey District, being Section No. 43B, Block VII., on the map of the said district. Bounded towards the North-east by Section No. 43A, 1300 links; towards the South-east by Section No. 43A, 559·6 links; towards the South-west by Section No. 43A, 1300 links; and towards the North-west by Section No. 43A and a road-line, 559·6 links: as the same is delineated on the plans in the Survey Office, Dunedin.
