SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Henry Alley's land at Hikutai,
as described in Proclamation dated the 4th September, 1879,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 95, of the
11th September, 1879, and proceeding thence generally in a
southerly direction for a distance of 19 miles or thereabouts,
passing in, through, or over the following lands, &c.: Henry
Alley's land at Hikutai; A. McAskill's land at Hikutai;
Kaimanawa Block; Native land; Te Komata North; Te
Komata South; Tawakarewakauri; land granted to J. Thorp;
Hararahi No. 1; Hararahi No. 2; Opatito; Te Arero-o-Hua-
tata No. 2; Te Paeroa; Te Arero-o-Huatata No. 1; Blocks
Nos. 5858, 5370; Muraoteahi, 5814, 1875, 5800, 4454; Koro-
natua Nos. 1, 2, and 3; Te Manukau; Te Waka-o-tiki te
Aroha; Otamau-runganui; Takapau; Taumatawhine No. 2;
Native land; Mangamutu; Te Paeroa No. 1; Ngakuoneone;
Waitoki; Karaka; Te Maire; Patuwhao; Sections Nos. 1,
5, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and Pa Reserve,
Te Aroha Goldfield; Ruakaka; land owned by Ema Lipsey;
and terminating at a point on the north-western boundary
of Emma Street, Te Aroha Goldfield Township, situate in
Block IX., Te Aroha Survey District: all within the Coun-
ties of Thames, Ohinemuri, and Piako, Provincial District
of Auckland, Colony of New Zealand; the same being more
particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D. 7365,
deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington,

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of
July, 1886.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order
that the Government work known as the North Island Main
Trunk Line of Railway, from a point at or near Marton to
Te Awamutu, via Murimotu, Taumarunui, and the Ongaruhc
River Valley (portion of Porewa Contract), shall and may
be constructed on or through the parcel of land mentioned
in the Schedule hereto.

"The Westland and Nelson Coalfields Administration Act,
1877."—Making Regulations fixing Tolls, Rates, Fares,
&c., to be charged by the Mokihinui Coal Company.

BY virtue of the powers vested in me by "The Westland
and Nelson Coalfields Administration Act, 1877," I,
William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby make the regulations
contained in the Schedule hereto fixing the tolls, rates, fares,
and rents to be hereafter charged by the Mokihinui Coal
Company (Limited) for the carriage on, and usage of, the said
company's railway, from the Mokihinui River to the com-
pany's coal-mine, in respect of the several matters and things
specified in the said Schedule, and for the storage of goods
in any of the sheds or warehouses used in connection with
the said railway.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATIONS.
- THE Mokihinui Coal Company (Limited) is hereby
authorized to charge for carriage on, and usage of, the
company's railway and for storage the following tolls, rates,
and rents in respect of the matters specified hereunder, viz.:—

Wharfage and terminal charges, including re-
ceiving and delivering, per ton or fraction of a

Proviso: If a line of railway from Westport joins the com-
pany's line, then these charges shall be modified as regards
all through traffic; and the Mokihinui Coal Company's
charge on their line shall not exceed 6d. per ton for haulage,
together with terminal charges as follows, i.e.:—
When both the loading and unloading are done by the
company the terminal charge to be 1s. 6d. per ton; when
only one, either loading or unloading, is done by the com-
pany the terminal charge to be 9d. per ton; and when
neither loading nor unloading is done by the company then
no terminal charge to be made by the company.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-six.

HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified
that he has been informed by Her Majesty's Principal
Secretary of State for the Colonies that the Queen's
exequatur, empowering
THOMAS P. FALLON, Esq.,
to act as Colombian Consul-General for the Australasian
Colonies, at Melbourne, received Her Majesty's signature on
the 21st April last, and that the notification of Her
Majesty's approval of this appointment appeared in the
London Gazette of the 27th April last.
