NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one month from date of Gazette containing this notice.

  1. JAMES HAMILL.—1 rood 2 perches, part of Rural Section 235, Borough of Sydenham. Occupied by Applicant.

  2. ELIZABETH BINNIE.—99 acres 3 roods 30 perches, part of Rural Section 2501, Rangiora Survey District. Occupied by David Boyce.

WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with me made by MARTHA JANE WILSON, of Kirkland Hill, Widow, the registered Proprietress of Allotments 26 and 27 on plan of the Township of Holyrood, of the loss of the certificate of title for the said land, dated the 7th July, 1882, Register-book, Vol. lxi., folio 298:

I hereby give notice that I intend to issue a provisional certificate of title for the said land to the said Martha Jane Wilson, unless caveat be lodged here forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette.

APPLICATION having been made to me by SAMUEL BEATTY for issue of provisional certificate of title to Section 393, Hokitika, containing 1 rood, and it having been proved to my satisfaction that the original certificate has been lost, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to issue a provisional certificate of title, as requested, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice, unless caveat forbidding me to do so be entered in the meantime.

Mining Notices.

To the Warden at Clyde of the Otago Goldfields Mining District, and all other persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to extend a Water-race, already constructed and held under license No. 912, issued at Clyde, 25th September, 1879, such extension commencing at the termination of said race, being a point about half a mile below the residence-area lately held by the applicant (now held by Ah Wye) on west side of Conroy's Gully, and terminating at applicant's farm, Earnscleugh Flat. The length of such extension is two miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is north and south. The mean depth of such extension is 1 foot, and the mean breadth is 2 feet, and the time required for its construction is three months.

THE CROMWELL GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

I, the undersigned, Manager, hereby give notice that an increase in the capital of the above-named company was, on the 16th day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, resolved on.

The mode adopted for the increase is by issuing new shares, fifty at £12 each, to be fully paid up, in addition to the fifty-six shares of £25 each now existing in the company.
