Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 27 acres and 9 perches
and 32 acres and 15 perches respectively, more or less,
situate in the Puniu and Maungatautari Survey Districts,
and being road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing
the western portion of the Maungatautari Block, No. 5469:
Road containing 27 acres and 9 perches: Commencing at
a point on the north-western boundary of the Maungatau-
tari Block at a distance of 5492 links or thereabouts from
the north-eastern angle of the Ngamoko Block, being the
middle of the road above referred to, and thence continuing
easterly and south-easterly generally for a distance of 27058
links or thereabouts to the Owairaka River, at a point on the
same at a distance of 2400 links or thereabouts from its con-
fluence with the Puniu River.
Road containing 32 acres and 15 perches: Commencing at
a point on the north-eastern side of the road hereinbefore
described at a distance of 12118 links or thereabouts from
the north-western boundary of the Maungatautari Block,
being the middle of the road above referred to, and thence
continuing easterly generally for a distance of 32098 links
or thereabouts to road-peg No. LVI., at a distance of 47390.5
links and on a bearing of 23ยฐ 34' 30" from Trig. Station No.
1563 (Taurangakohu); be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: as the same is delineated on Plans Nos. 3961A, 3961B,
3961c, and 3961D, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.
Date of Governor's warrant, 30th July, 1885.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this twenty-first day of June, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

portion of Ohau No. 1 Block; the centre of which commences
at a point marked F, and proceeds generally in a south-
easterly direction to the point marked E: as the same is
more particularly shown on the plan marked 1932/15, No. 5a,
and deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 9th February, 1885.
All that road, 100 links wide, situate in Blocks X. and
XIV., and being portion of Aratangata Block; the centre of
which commences at the point marked A, and proceeds
generally in a north-easterly direction to the point marked
B: as the same is more particularly shown on the plan
marked S.O. 1932/15, No. 1, and deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
All that road, 100 links wide, situate in Block X, and being
portion of the Aratangata and Parekauwau Blocks; the
centre of which commences at the point marked B, and
proceeds generally in a north-easterly direction to the point
marked C: as the same is more particularly shown on the
plan marked 1932/15, No. 2, and deposited in the office of
the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 9th February, 1885.
All that road, 100 links wide, situate in Block XIV., and
being portions of Ohinikakeao No. 1, Takapu No. 2, and
Manawatu-Kukutauaki No. 3 Blocks; the centre of which
commences at the point marked D, and proceeds generally
in a south-easterly direction to the point marked E: as the
same is more particularly shown on the plan marked S.O,
