THE CANTON INSURANCE OFFICE (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to “The Foreign Companies Act, 1884,” that the situation and locality of the office or place of business of the Canton Insurance Office (Limited) in the Provincial District of Canterbury, in the Colony of New Zealand, where legal proceedings of any kind may be served upon it, and to which notices of any kind may be addressed or given, is at the office of Acland, Barns, and Co., General Agents, No. 174, Hereford Street, in the City of Christchurch.

COUNTY OF TAIERI.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Taieri County Council, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” to execute a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in the Seaside Road District, County of Taieri, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is further given that copy of a plan of the said road and of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the house of Mr. Robert Westwood, Surfaceman, situate in the said Seaside Road District, in the Provincial District of Otago, and is there open for inspection; and notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the Taieri County Council, at the Council’s office, Mosgiel.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between WILLIAM STOCKS, Contractor, of Christchurch, and ROBERT WALLACE, Contractor, also of Christchurch, carrying on business as Contractors, of the firm known and styled as “Stocks and Wallace,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately existing between us, the undersigned MAURICE THOMAS McGRATH and CHARLES SIAU, carrying on business as Auctioneers, Land, Estate, Stock, Insurance, and General Commission Agents, at Woodville, in the County of Waipawa, under the style or firm of “Siau and McGrath,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twelfth day of May, 1886.
All debts due to or owing by the late firm will be received and paid by the said Charles Siau, who will continue the said business in his own name.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned WILLIAM MURRAY, JOHN ROBERTS, and JOHN DALGLIESH, carrying on business as General Merchants and Wool Buyers, at Invercargill, under the style or firm of “Murray, Dalgliesh, and Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six; and the business is now being carried on, for the purposes of liquidation only, under the style or firm of “Murray, Dalgliesh, and Co., in liquidation,” under the management in the meantime of THOMAS HORDER, of Invercargill, Accountant, who has been authorized to receive all debts due to the said firm.
