A PROCLAMATION.
By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis
Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby declare that the land specified in the
Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections
one hundred and ninety-eight to two hundred and nineteen
of Part VII. of "The Land Act, 1885," relating to small
grazing runs.

By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the one hundred and thirty-fifth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with

the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby declare that the section of land enu-
merated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease,
with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of
"The Land Act, 1885."

SCHEDULE.
All those parcels of land in Block XVI., Mahinapua District,
and Block XIII., Kaniere District, Provincial District of
Westland, being islands in the Hokitika River, abreast of the
Koiterangi Hill, and containing about 285 acres, more or
less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-

colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land enume-
rated in the Schedule hereto shall be set apart for lease,
with right of renewal, under the provisions of Part IV. of

SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 984 acres, more or less, situate in Blocks XIII. and
XIV., Tekinga Survey District. Bounded towards the South-
east by the Bell Hill Road; towards the South-west by
Section No. 2134; towards the North-west by road reserve
along Poerua Lagoon and Poerua River; and towards the
North-east by road reserve along Deep Creek.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 2,500 acres, more or less, situate in Blocks II. and VI.,
Toaroha Survey District. Bounded towards the North by
slopes of Doughboy Hill, Section No. 2138, and Deferred-pay-
ment Block; towards the East by Run No. 9; and towards
the West by Section No. 1561 and line in continuation of
eastern boundary thereof.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 699 acres, more or less, situate in Blocks XII. and
XVI., Mahinapua Survey District, and Blocks IX. and XIII.,
Kaniere Survey District. Bounded towards the West by the
H.P. line; towards the South and South-east by the Hoki-
tika River and Sections Nos. 1128 and 1945; towards the
North-east by line in continuation of north-east boundary of
Section No. 1945; and towards the North-west by H.I. line,
and North by a line from intersection of H.O. and H.I. lines
to intersection of H.P. and H.H. lines.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 2 acres 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, situate in
Block II., Totara Survey District. Bounded towards the
South by Section No. 1080; towards the West by the Hoki-
tika-Ross Road; and towards the East by suburban road.

All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasure-
ment 96 acres, more or less, situate in Block IX., Kaniere
Survey District, and comprising islands in river-bed at junc-
tion of Hokitika and Kokatahi Rivers and Duck Creek,
known as "Graham's Islands." Bounded towards the West
by the Kokatahi and Hokitika Rivers; towards the East by
Duck Creek; and towards the South-east by overflow
channel: exclusive of road reserves.
