Gold-mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

• Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Hokitika on or before the 1st day of June, 1886.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden's Office at Hokitika.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Augustus Boys. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: Boys' Lease. 10 acres, at Arahura Flat, at back of Morgan's land, Westland Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Hokitika, this seventeenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

Native Land Court Notice.

Notice under “Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883.”

I, JOHN EDWIN MACDONALD, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, do hereby, in compliance with the duty imposed upon me by “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act, 1883,” give notice that on the 18th day of May, 1886, the title to the land mentioned in the Schedule herein became, within the meaning of the said Act, ascertained; and, further, that dealings with the said land will cease to be prohibited by the provisions of the said Act on the 27th day of June, 1886.

SCHEDULE.

NAME by which land is known: Te Ikaroa. Native Land Court District wherein situate: Whanganui. Area: 1 rood 27 perches.
