Private Advertisements.
In the matter of “ The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the
matter of the New Zealand Manure and Chemical Com-
pany (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of Shareholders, held at the registered office
of the company, Strand, Tauranga, on Thursday, the 18th
day of March, 1886, the following resolutions were passed;
and at a subsequent meeting of Shareholders, held on
Wednesday, the 14th day of April, 1886, the said resolutions
were duly confirmed, viz. :
“ (1.) That, it having been proved to the satisfaction of the
company that by reason of its liabilities it cannot continue
its business, it is advisable to wind up the same; and that
the company be wound up voluntarily, in pursuance of ‘The
Companies Act, 1882.’ ”
“ (2.) That Mr. Robert Horne be appointed Liquidator for
the purpose of conducting such winding-up.”

In the matter of “ The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the
matter of the Tauranga Cheese, Butter, and Bacon Manu-
facturing Company (Limited), in liquidation.
NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of Shareholders, held in the offices of the
company, Horne’s Buildings, Wharf Street, Tauranga, on
Saturday, the 24th April, 1886, at 11 o’clock a.m., the follow-
ing extraordinary resolution was passed and confirmed :
“ It is resolved that Robert Horne, who was appointed
Liquidator of the company on the 21st December, 1885, be
and he is hereby directed, in his discretion, to sell by public
auction the whole of the freehold property of the company
subject to encumbrance, and also all the assets of the com-
pany; and he is hereby empowered to execute all necessary
documents to carry out such sale as aforesaid; and it is
hereby declared that all actions of his in respect of the dis-
posal of such freehold property and assets are and shall be
binding upon the Shareholders of the said company without
any further meeting whatsoever.
“ That certain preferential claims heretofore acknowledged
as due to certain creditors should be paid first.”

I, HERBERT MACANDREW, Bachelor of Medicine and Mas-
ter of Surgery, now residing at Macandrew’s Bay,
in the Provincial District of Otago, hereby give you notice
that it is my intention to apply to you, on the 1st day of
June, 1886, to have my name placed on the Medical Register
of the Colony of New Zealand; and that I have deposited
my evidences of qualification for public inspection in the
office of the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages,
Dunedin.
