I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Wakatu United Gold-mining Company as a Limited Company, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act, 1872,” and amendments thereof.

  1. The name of the company is to be the Wakatu United Gold-mining Company (Limited).

  2. The place of intended operations is on what are known as the Bulmer Creek Extended and Uno Leases, situated at the Owen, in the County of Inangahua, and in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The registered office of the company will be situated in Nelson, in the County of Waimea, and in the Colony of New Zealand.

  4. The capital of the company is twenty-four thousand pounds, in forty-eight thousand shares of ten shillings each.

SOUTH HOPEFUL QUARTZ-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

INCREASE OF CAPITAL.

I, the undersigned Manager, hereby give notice that an increase in the capital of the above-named company was, on the twenty-fourth day of April, 1886, resolved on. The mode adopted for the increase is by issuing eighteen thousand new shares of one pound each, in addition to the eighteen thousand shares now existing in the company. Two thousand of the said new shares to be paid-up shares, and to be issued pro ratâ to the holders of the existing two thousand paid-up shares in the company. Sixteen thousand of the said new shares to be considered as having twelve shillings and ninepence halfpenny per share paid up, and to be issued pro ratâ to the holders of the existing sixteen thousand contributing shares.
