Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a road over Land
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drum-
mond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land
specified in a warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 14 acres 3 roods 18
perches and 4 acres and 33 perches respectively, more or
less, situated in the Patetere North Survey District, and
being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the Manga-
pouri No. 2a Block, No. 4089:β
Road containing 14 acres 3 roods 18 perches: Commenc-
ing at a point on the northern boundary of the aforesaid
block at a distance of 50 chains or thereabouts from its
north-eastern angle, being the middle of the road above re-
ferred to; and thence continuing south-easterly generally
for a distance of 14860 links or thereabouts to a point on the
eastern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 12
chains or thereabouts from its south-eastern angle.
Road containing 4 acres and 33 perches: Commencing at
a point on the southern side of the road hereinbefore defined
at a distance of 5080 links or thereabouts from the northern
boundary of the aforesaid block, being the middle of the
road above referred to; and thence continuing south-
westerly generally for a distance of 4210 links or thereabouts
to the Oraka Stream at a point distant 104 chains or there-
abouts from the south-eastern angle of the aforesaid block.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are
delineated on Plan No. 3662D, deposited in the Survey Office
at Auckland.
Date of Governor's warrant, 5th June, 1883.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 38 perches,
more or less, situated in the Patetere North Survey District,
and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Manga-
pouri No. 2c Block, No. 4089; commencing at a point on
the northern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance
of 5210 links or thereabouts from its north-eastern angle,
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing south-easterly for a distance of 1240 links or
thereabouts to the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid
block at a point on the same 50 chains or thereabouts
distant from its south-eastern angle: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No.
3662D, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 25 perches,
more or less, situated in the Patetere North Survey District,
and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Manga-
pouri No. 2B Block, No. 4089; commencing at a point on
the northern boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance
of 4 chains or thereabouts from its north-western angle,
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing southerly generally for a distance of 1666 links
or thereabouts to the southern boundary of the aforesaid
block at a distance of 5210 links or thereabouts from its
south-eastern angle: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3662D, deposited
in the Survey Office at Auckland.

24 acres 2 roods 20 perches, 7 acres 2 roods 22 perches,
9 acres and 8 perches, and 2 acres and 3 perches respec-
tively, more or less, situated in the Mangapouri No. 1 Block,
No. 4089, in the Patetere North Survey District, and being
road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the aforesaid
block:β
Road containing 8 acres 3 roods 4 perches: Commencing
at a point on the northern boundary of the aforesaid block
at a distance of 1850 links or thereabouts from its north-
western angle, being the middle of the road above referred
to; and thence continuing southerly generally for a distance
of 8780 links or thereabouts to a point on the northern
boundary of the Mangapouri No. 2B Block at a distance of
4 chains or thereabouts from the Oraka Stream.
Road containing 24 acres 2 roods 20 perches: Commencing
at a point on the eastern boundary of the Mangapouri No. 2A
Block, No. 4089, at a distance of 1112 links or thereabouts
from its south-eastern angle, being the middle of the road
above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly
generally for a distance of 24564 links or thereabouts to
the southern boundary of the aforesaid block at a point
104 chains or thereabouts distant from its south-western
angle.
