Appointments in the Department of Trade and Customs.

THE following appointments have been made in this department:—

WILLIAM ROUT, Clerk at Dunedin, to be Landing-waiter and Examining Officer at the Port of Wellington. Appointment to date from the 1st April, 1886.

CLAUDE COLEBROOK, Clerk at Christchurch, to be Clerk at the Port of Dunedin. Appointment to date from the 1st April, 1886.

HENRY ARTHUR JACKMAN to be Cadet at the Port of Dunedin. Appointment to date from the 20th August, 1885.

CHARLES HENRY SMITH to be Cadet at the Port of Wellington. Appointment to date from the 1st September, 1885.
