I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the Rose Gold-mining Company as a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872," and amendment Acts thereof.

- The place of operations is at Karangahake, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

To the Mining Registrar at Arrow, in the Mining District of Wakatipu, and all whom it may concern.
WE, LAWRENCE D. MANSON and JOHN MONCRIEFF, do hereby give notice that we intend to bring under section 31 of "The Mines Act, 1877," our water-races and their tributaries, held by us under original license, as follows:
One sluice-head from a creek adjoining Deep Creek, Kawarau, on Nevis Bluff side; License No. 1865, dated 12th November, 1871; race, 200 yards long. Two extra sluice-heads from Deep Creek, Kawarau; License No. 1494; dated 12th November, 1872. Two sluice-heads from Deep Creek, Kawarau; License No. 1493, dated 12th November, 1873; this race being four miles long: the whole of the races being combined: and terminating at our claim on the south bank of Kawarau River, near Gibbston, Kawarau. The total carrying capacity of the said races being five sluice-heads. Lost renewals of above licenses, 12th November, 1885; number and date of miners' rights, 51636, 3rd January, 1885, and 51670, 14th February, 1885.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between JAMES SAUNDERS, JAMES BROWSE GILBERD, and JOHN BEATSON, as Soap and Candle Manufacturers at Awatoto, in the Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, under the firm of "Saunders, Gilberd, and Company," is dissolved as from the 1st day of January, 1886. The business will for the future be carried on by the said James Saunders and James Browse Gilberd in partnership, under the same style of "Saunders, Gilberd, and Company;" and all debts owing to the late firm are to be paid to the said James Saunders and James Browse Gilberd, by whom all the liabilities of the late firm will be discharged.
