Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this
purpose vested by “The Customs Laws Consolidation
Act, 1882,” I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse
to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond,
namely:—
Port of Poverty Bay.
Portion of the cellar of a concrete building with iron roof
situate on Section No. 28, Customhouse Street, Town of
Gisborne, to be known as
DUNLOP’S BOND.

Revocation of Appointment of a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the authority in me for this
purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of Trade and
Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul
the appointment of the under-mentioned warehouse for the
reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused
without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof,
namely:—
Port of Westport.
The warehouse known as
SPENCE’S BOND,
and subsequently as
THE WESTPORT BOND,
appointed by Commissioner’s Order No. 18, of the 25th June,
1868.

Certain Articles exempted from Duty.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the power in me for this pur-
pose vested by “The Customs Duties Consolidation
Act, 1882,” I, Julius Vogel, Commissioner of Trade and
Customs, do hereby order that the goods hereunder specified,
being materials which are suited only for, and are to be used
and applied solely in, the fabrication of goods within the
colony, shall be exempt from duty on importation thereof
into the colony, namely,—
Boot cashmere,
Boot lasting,
Boot felt,
Flushing for lining felt boots, and
Royal cord for slippers,
for use in the manufacture of boots and slippers.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twelfth day
of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-

Alterations and Additions to Scale of Fares and Charges
in force on the New Zealand Railways.
IN accordance with section 144 of “The Public Works
Act, 1882,” I, Edward Richardson, the Minister for
Public Works, do hereby make the following alterations and
additions to the scale of charges, to come into force from
and after the 22nd day of March, 1886.
PART IV.—LOCAL RATES.
AUCKLAND SECTION.
Regulations for the Conveyance of Funerals by Railway from
Auckland, Newmarket, and Mount Eden to Waikomiti
Cemetery.
NOTICES for funerals must be sent in writing to the District
Traffic Manager of Railways, Auckland, by the Auckland
City Treasurer, who will pay all charges.
The accommodation required must be specified in the
order.
If a special train is wanted, not less than twelve hours’
notice must be given.
A special carriage and van will be set apart for the convey-
ance of funerals by the ordinary trains.
Corpses must be loaded at the places provided at Auckland,
Newmarket, and Mount Eden twenty minutes before the
time of departure of the train by which the funeral is to be
conveyed.
For special trains the charges will be according to the scale
of charges in force on the New Zealand railways. The
charge for a special train of one carriage with special van
for the corpse will be £8 5s. The charge per corpse will
be 10s.
Return fares from Auckland, Newmarket, or Mount Eden
to Waikomiti Cemetery will be—1st class, 2s.; 2nd class,
1s. 6d.; children half-price.

Notice under “The Native Land Laws Amendment Act,
1883.”
WHEREAS the estate and interest of Hoani Kuru,
Heni Whanau Kuru, Harata Kuru, and Hinerapa
Kuru, aboriginal natives of New Zealand, in the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto, is vested in Topi Kuru and
Rawinia Tukeke, as Trustees under the provisions of “The
Maori Real Estate Management Act, 1867,” and the several
amendments thereof, subject to certain restrictions on the
alienation of such land, and application has been made for
the removal of such restrictions:
It is hereby notified that it is intended, immediately after
the expiration of sixty days from the publication of this
notice in the Gazette and in the Kahiti, to remove the said
restrictions on the alienation of the said land in respect of
the interests aforesaid, in order that the said land may be
leased by the said Trustees for a term of twenty-one years
from the 28th October, 1885.
Dated at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-six.
