NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned Crown land will be open for application, upon deferred payments, at the Land Offices, Christchurch and Timaru, on Wednesday, the 28th April, 1886:—

Should two or more persons apply for the allotment on the same day, the land will be put up to public competition by tender, limited to the applicants.

Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for application on deferred-payment conditions, at the prices stated in such Schedule.

The day upon which the land shall be open for application shall be the 28th day of April, 1886, at the Land Offices, Christchurch and Timaru.

The land shall be subject to the provisions relating to rural lands of Part III. of “The Land Act, 1885.”

Should two or more persons apply for the allotment on the same day, the land will be put up to public competition by tender, limited to the applicants.

Each applicant will be required to make the declaration prescribed by section 113 of “The Land Act, 1885,” and shall, at the time of application, deposit with the Receiver of Land Revenue for the Canterbury Land District one-twentieth of the price of the allotment. Such payment shall be deemed to be a discharge of the license-fee for the six months due the 1st July, 1886.
The purchaser of the land described in the Schedule, upon the full payment of the purchase-money, and also the fulfilment of the terms and conditions prescribed by “The Land Act, 1885,” relating to lands on deferred payments, will be entitled to a Crown grant, to be issued in the usual way upon payment of the fees prescribed by law.

IN the matter of a judgment of the Court given during a session opened at Helensville, in the said district, on the 4th day of June, 1885, upon the hearing of a claim to succeed to the interest of Ihapera Nelson, in land situate in the said district, and known as “Ahukaroro North;” and in the matter of an application made by Ida Nelson and others for a rehearing upon such claim:
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby dismiss such application.

IN the matter of a decision of the Court given during a session opened at Whanganui, in the said district, on the 14th day of January, 1886, upon the hearing of an application to succeed to the interest of Te Wharau, in land situate in the said district, and known as “Ngongohau No. 2;” and in the matter of the application made to this Court in writing, within three months after such decision was given, by a certain Native, thinking herself aggrieved thereby, for a rehearing upon the aforesaid claim:
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be had on the 6th day of April next, at a sitting of the Court to be then held at Whanganui, in the district aforesaid.
Dated this 2nd day of March, 1886.

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be had on the 6th day of April next, at a sitting of the Court to be then held at Whanganui, in the district aforesaid.
