the valuation-roll of the Town District of Danevirke, cannot be done by or within the times mentioned in the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the said “Rating Act, 1876,” and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the times for doing the said things in connection with the valuation-roll of the said town district, and doth declare that the times for the doing of such several things shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS by the two hundred and twenty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified.

AUCKLAND.
All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, being Section No. 43 of the Town of Ormond. Bounded towards the North-east by Section No. 58 of the Town of Ormond aforesaid, 250 links; towards the South-east by Section No. 44 of the Town of Ormond aforesaid, 400 links; towards the South-west by a street, 100 links wide, 250 links; and towards the North-west by Section No. 42 of the Town of Ormond aforesaid, 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a site for a drill-shed.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 10 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Otahuhu, Provincial District of Auckland, being Allotments Nos. 159 and 162 of the Parish of Pakuranga. Bounded towards the North by a public road, 1075 links; towards the East by Allotments Nos. 160 and 163 of the said parish, 1000 links; towards the South by Allotment No. 140 of the said parish, 1071 links; and towards the West by a public road, 1000 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a gravel reserve.
All that piece or parcel of land containing 18 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Otahuhu, Provincial District of Auckland, being Allotments Nos. 140 and 40 of the Parish of Pukuranga. Bounded towards the North by Allotments Nos. 162 and 163 of the said parish, 2071 links; towards the East by a public road, 827 links; towards the South by a public road, 1810 links and 294 links; towards the West by a public road, 829 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a recreation-ground.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, being Section No. 13, Block VI., Mangawhero Survey District, containing by admeasurement 341 acres and 39 perches, more or less. For primary education.

Bounded towards the North-east by the River Hae-hae-te-moana; towards the North-west by a line bearing 43° 3′, 671 links; towards the South-west by the road-line north-east of Section No. 25082, 1957 links; and towards the South-east by a line bearing 43° 3′, 929 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; and numbered 2700 (in red).
