Land withdrawn from the Deferred-payment System in the West Coast (North Island) Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:
And whereas the land specified in the Schedule hereto was, with other lands, set apart for sale on deferred payments on the twenty-sixth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the above-named Act, do hereby revoke the Proclamation above referred to, so far as it relates to the sections therein mentioned, and included in the Schedule hereto, and do proclaim and declare that the said sections are hereby withdrawn from the operation of the deferred-payment system.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at Christchurch, this second day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified under warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 15 perches, 10 acres 2 roods 7 perches, and 5 acres and 35 perches, respectively, more or less, situate in the Coromandel Survey District, and being road-lines, each 100 links wide, traversing the Tauranga Kawau Block, No. 3451:
Portion containing 2 roods 15 perches: Commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of the Matau Hoke Block at a distance of 350 links or thereabouts from its northernmost angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly for a distance of 595 links or thereabouts to the Waiau River.
Portion containing 10 acres 2 roods 7 perches: Commencing at a point on the south-eastern side of the road hereinbefore described at a distance of 320 links or thereabouts from the north-eastern boundary of the Matau Hoke Block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly generally for a distance of
