HAWKE'S BAY GOLD-MINING PROSPECTING
ASSOCIATION (LIMITED).
A GENERAL Meeting of the above-named association
will be held at the Town Hall, Hastings, on Monday,
the 28th day of December, 1885, at 8 o'clock p.m., for the
purpose of considering the final accounts of the association
as prepared by the Liquidator.

THE Directors invite tenders from Shareholders for 2,890
unallotted shares. Tenders close at 8 p.m. on the
14th December, 1885. Amount of purchase-money must
accompany any tender.

NOTICE.
To the Chief Commissioner, Southland Waste Lands Board
at Invercargill, and all other persons whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-race
and divert water from the stream known as Jericho
Stream, at Blackmount, commencing about 1 mile and 15
chains from its junction with the Waiau River, and extending
towards the said junction on the south-east bank of the
stream about 10 chains. Race to be 3 feet wide and about
3 feet deep, with 4 feet on each side occupied by the
earth taken out for the race; the reservoir being 1 chain
wide at the head of the race and extending back about
5 chains, greatest depth, say, 7 feet; to supply, say, four
Government-heads of water. By-wash channel to be at the
north-west end of the dam. A tail-race will be constructed,
commencing at the lower end of the water-race and running
into the stream about 5 chains therefrom. Time required
for construction and completion of race, one month.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between RODERICK
McLEAN MacLEOD and HUGH PATRICK LYON TEN-
NENT, as Farmers and Graziers, at Te Kohai, Carnarvon, in
the Manawatu County, has been dissolved by mutual consent,
as on and from the 18th day of November instant.
Mr. Tennent will carry on business at Te Kohai, Carnarvon,
aforesaid, and will receive and pay all debts due and owing
to and by the late copartnership.

line for each insertion.

paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
