I, WILLIAM LAURENCE SIMPSON, Manager of the Trustees,
Executors, and Agency Company of New Zealand
(Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare—
- That the liability of the company is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £50,000, divided into
10,000 shares of £5 each. - That the number of shares issued is 10,000.
- That calls to the amount of £1 per share have been
made, under which the sum of £10,000 has been received. - That the amount of all moneys received on account of
estates under administration is £616 1s. 3d. - That the amount of money paid on account of estates
under administration is £616 1s. 3d. - That the amount of money balance held on account of
estates under administration on the 30th September was nil. - That the liabilities of the company on the 30th September
last were: Debts owing to sundry constituents, £1,920 10s.
10d.; on estimated liabilities, say £107 19s. 2d. - That the assets of the company on that day were: On
mortgage, £9,750; owing by constituents, £1,306 10s. 7d.;
cash at bankers, £640 14s. 4d.; other assets, £708 17s. 3d.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Cromwell, of the Dunstan Mining
District, and all other persons whom it may concern.
I TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-
race and divert water for all or any of the purposes
mentioned in Section 31 of "The Mines Act, 1877," com-
mencing at a point in Eighteen-Mile Creek, Tarras District,
Vincent County, and terminating at Section 5, Block IX.,
Tarras District. The length of such race is one-quarter of a
mile, or thereabouts, and the time required for its construc-
tion is one month. The mean depth of such race is 1 foot 6
inches, and the mean breadth is 1 foot 6 inches, and it is
proposed to divert three Government heads of water. A
license is asked to be in force for the term of fifteen years.
Dated at Cromwell this 23rd day of October, 1885.
