Regulations for First Meetings of United District Boards under "The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885."

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by "The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations for the first meetings of the Boards of the united districts constituted by sections 34 and 35 of the said Act.

REGULATIONS.

  1. THE first meetings of the Boards of the united districts constituted by sections 34 and 35 of "The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885," shall be held at the times and places, and shall be presided over by the members respectively named in the Schedule hereto.

Auckland City Council Chamber, Auckland November 20, at 6.30 p.m. William Richard Waddell.
Thames Borough Council Chamber, Thames November 17, at 8 p.m. James Renshaw.
Wanganui Wanganui November 17, at noon Freeman Rayney Jackson.
Hawke's Bay Old Council Chamber, Napier November 17, at 2 p.m. John Davies Ormond.
Wellington City Council Chamber, Wellington November 17, at 3 p.m. Samuel Danks.
Nelson Nelson November 17, at 2 p.m. Charles Yates Fell.
North Canterbury Christchurch November 17, at 10.30 a.m. William Vincent.
Otago Dunedin November 17, at 2 p.m. Arthur Scoullar.
  1. Five shall be the number of members necessary to constitute the first meeting of each of the Boards of the united districts aforesaid.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this tenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

IN exercise of the power in me for this purpose vested by "The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882," I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby approve of the Ports of Napier, Nelson, Greymouth, Hokitika, Invercargill, Oamaru, and Timaru as ports for the importation of playing-cards.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

Fixing Sittings of District Court at Westport.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in this behalf enabling me, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint that a sitting of the District Court of Westland shall be held as follows:β€”

In the Courthouse at Westport, for the despatch of civil and criminal business, on Thursday, the third day of December next.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.
