NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land herein- after described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one month from the date of the gazetting of this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER- RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Cromwell, of the Dunstan Mining District, and all other persons whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water- race and divert water for all or any of the purposes mentioned in Section 31 of "The Mines Act, 1877," com- mencing at a point in Eighteen-Mile Creek, Tarras District, Vincent County, and terminating at Section 5, Block IX., Tarras District. The length of such race is one-quarter of a mile, or thereabouts, and the time required for its construction is one month. The mean depth of such race is 1 foot 6 inches, and the mean breadth is 1 foot 6 inches, and it is proposed to divert three Government heads of water. A license is asked to be in force for the term of fifteen years.
