19 of Section No. 6 aforesaid, by the north-western boundary
of that lot 27 links, by the south-western boundary of Sec-
tion No. 19 aforesaid 150 links to the commencing point.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 17
perches, being part of Allotment No. 18 and Allotment No.
19 of Section No. 6 of a subdivision of original Allotment
No. 15, called or known by the name of McLean’s Township;
commencing at a point on the north-western side of Ford
Street at a distance of 713 links from its junction with
Victoria Street. Bounded—South-easterly by Ford Street,
97 links; South-westerly by Allotment No. 6D, 150 links;
North-westerly generally by Allotment No. 6D aforesaid 27
links, and by the middle of the old bed of the Tani Te
Whiora Stream to the southern boundary of the Railway
Reserve; North-easterly by part of the southern boundary of
the Railway Reserve aforesaid, 100 links, to the commencing
point.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2
roods 38 perches, being portions of Allotments Nos. 16, 17,
and 23, and Allotments Nos. 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 of Section
No. 10 of a subdivision of original Lot No. 15, called or
known by the name of McLean’s Township; commencing at
a point on the southern side of the Railway Reserve being
the place of its intersection by the north-western side of
High Street. Bounded—South-easterly by High Street, 287
links; Southerly and South-westerly by the Tani Te
Whiora Stream; towards the North-west by Ford Street, 127
links; and towards the North-east by the Railway Reserve,
304·8 links, to the commencing point.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 3
roods 12 perches, being part of Allotments Nos. 24, 15, 16,
and 23, and Allotments Nos. 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 of Sec-
tion No. 14 of a subdivision of original Lot No. 15, called or
known by the name of McLean’s Township; commencing at
the point of intersection of the southern boundary of the
Railway Reserve by the south-eastern side of High Street.
Bounded—North-easterly generally by the Railway Reserve
aforesaid, 193, 50, and 100 links respectively; South-easterly
by part of the north-west side of Church Street, 322 links;
South-westerly generally by the Tani Te Whiora Stream;
North-westerly by High Street, 127 links, to the commencing
point.

All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 roods
22 perches, being portions of Allotments Nos. 14, 15, and 21,
and Allotments Nos. 15A, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20 of Section
No. 19 of a subdivision of original Lot No. 15, called or
known by the name of McLean’s Township; commencing at
the point of intersection of the southern boundary of the
Railway Reserve by the south-eastern side of Church Street.
Bounded—North-easterly by the Railway Reserve aforesaid,
304·8 links; South-easterly and Southerly by part of the north-
western side of Market Street 7 links, and by the Tana
Te Whiora Stream; and towards the North-west by Church
Street, 312 links, to the commencing point.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; the several
parcels of land being situate in the Parish of Maungatawhiri,
Maramarua Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland;
and are more particularly delineated upon the plan marked
P.W.D. 12581, deposited in the office of the Minister for
Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of
Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at Christchurch, this eighth day of
January, in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-five.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands
in the Auckland Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do

hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 14 acres 3 roods 24
perches, 3 roods 14 perches, 5 acres 3 roods 33 perches, and
5 acres 3 roods 18 perches, respectively, more or less, situated
in the Maungakawa Survey District, and being road-lines,
each 100 links wide, traversing the western and north-western
portions of the Kuranui Block, No. 762 :—

Portion containing 14 acres 3 roods 24 perches: Com-
mencing at a point on the Pahi Stream at a distance of 400
links or thereabouts from its confluence with the Waitaka-
ruru River, being the middle of the road above referred to;
and thence continuing north-easterly generally for a distance
of 14820 links to a point on the northern boundary of the
aforesaid block at a distance of 10 chains or thereabouts
from the south-eastern angle of the Motumaho No. 1 Block.

Portion containing 3 roods 14 perches: Commencing at a
point on the eastern side of the road hereinbefore described
at a distance of 25 chains or thereabouts from the Pahi
Stream, being the middle of the road above referred to; and
thence continuing easterly for a distance of 840 links or
thereabouts to the Waitakaruru River.

Portion containing 5 acres 3 roods 33 perches: Com-
mencing at a point on the western side of the road first
hereinbefore described at a distance of 9800 links or there-
abouts from the Pahi Stream, being the middle of the road
above referred to; and thence continuing westerly for a dis-
tance of 5960 links to the western boundary of the aforesaid
block.

Portion containing 5 acres 3 roods 18 perches: Com-
mencing at a point on the western boundary of the Motu-
maho No. 2 Block at a distance of 50 links or thereabouts
from its south-western angle, being the middle of the road
above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly for a
distance of 5845 links or thereabouts in the direction of Trig.
Point B to the Otahu-Korako Stream: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No.
3647, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 23rd October, 1883.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 36
perches, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey
District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the
Motumaho No. 2 Block, No. 3226; commencing at a point
on the Otahu-Korako Stream at a distance of 1425 links or
thereabouts from its confluence with the Waitakaruru River,
being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence
continuing north-easterly generally for a distance of 12440
links or thereabouts to Trig. Station G in Morrinsville: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is
delineated on Plan No. 3647, deposited in the Survey Office
at Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 23rd October, 1883.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 14 acres 2 roods 23
perches, more or less, situated in the Maungakawa Survey
District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the
Mangaotupua Block, No. 1106; commencing at a point on
the south-western boundary of the aforesaid block at a dis-
tance of 3850 links or thereabouts from its westernmost
angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and
thence continuing north-easterly for a distance of 14640
links or thereabouts to the Pahi Stream at a point on the
same at a distance of 400 links or thereabouts from its con-
fluence with the Waitakaruru Stream: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Plan No.
3647, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland.
