MANGATAINOKA I.
All that parcel of land in the District of Wairarapa, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Mangatainoka I, containing by admeasurement 10,500 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by the Mangatainoka H Block; towards the South-east by the Mangatainoka River and the Mangatainoka J Block; towards the South-west by the Mangatainoka K Block; and towards the North-west by the Mangahao River.
MANGATAINOKA L.
All that parcel of land in the District of Wairarapa, in the Provincial District of Wellington, known by the name of Mangatainoka L, containing by admeasurement 25,328 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the North by the Mangatainoka K Block; towards the East and South by the Makakahi River; and towards the West by the Kaihinu No. 2 Block.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the second section of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882," and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections three to forty-eight of "The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882."

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is vested in certain aboriginal natives of New Zealand, subject to certain restrictions on the alienation of such land, and application has been made for the removal of such restrictions:
It is hereby notified that it is the intention of His Excellency the Governor, immediately after the expiration of sixty days from the publication of this notice in the Gazette and in the Kahiti, partially to remove the said restrictions on the alienation of the said land, so as to admit of the leasing of the said lands for twenty-one years.

ALL that piece of land in the Parish of Puniu, County of Waikato, containing 33 acres, be the same a little more or less, being part of Allotment No. 14 of the said parish, and part of the land described in Vol. xxiv., folio 239, of the Register-book, and fully delineated upon those parts of a subdivision of the said Lot No. 14, marked respectively D and E upon such plan. Bounded towards the North-east by Allotment No. 344, 900 links; towards the South-east and East by a road-line, 1331 links; towards the South by a road-line, 745 links; towards the South-west by a road-line, 1085 links; and towards the North-east by a road-line, 2085 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the Government work known as the Wellington-Napier Railway (from seventy-two to seventy-eight miles from Napier) shall and may be constructed on or through the parcels of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
