NOTICE.—JOHN BARTLETT, of 23, Bush Lane, Cannon
Street, London, England, a Solicitor of the Supreme
Court of Judicature of England, has been appointed, this day,
by His Honour the Chief Justice, a Commissioner of the
Supreme Court of New Zealand in England, under the
2nd section of “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court
Act, 1875,” for the purpose of administering and taking
all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said
section mentioned.

THE following special orders, made by the Ashburton
County Council, are published in accordance with
“The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.”

Resolved, That the Council do make a special order dissolv-
ing the Board of the Longbeach Road District, and that
such special order be as follows, that is to say,—

SPECIAL ORDER.

WHEREAS by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by “The
Road Boards Act, 1882,” and of all other powers vested in it
in that behalf, this Council has constituted a new road dis-
trict, with the name of the Coldstream Road District, out of
part of the Longbeach Road District, and it is enacted by
the thirteenth section of the said Act that, when the boun-
daries of any road district are altered by the formation of a
