Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown on or before the 12th day of July, 1885.

Reserve 785, situate on north bank of south branch of Rangitata River. Area: 108 acres 3 roods. Upset price per acre: £2.
Terms: One-fourth of purchase-money on the fall of the hammer, balance within one calendar month thereafter, when if balance is not paid the one-fourth referred to will be forfeited, and the sale declared null and void. Crown-grant fee to be paid on completion of purchase.

Land Transfer Act Notices.
APPLICATION having been made to me by JAMES GARDNER, of Birchwood Station, Sheepfarmer, to register certain dealings affecting Section No. 232, Wairoa District, whereof the said JAMES GARDNER is the registered Proprietor, and a statutory declaration of the loss of the receipt of the Receiver of Land Revenue for the said section having been lodged with me, I hereby give notice that I shall register such dealings at the expiration of fourteen days after the date of the Gazette containing this notice, unless in the meantime a caveat be lodged forbidding the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that a statutory declaration of the loss of certificate of title, in favour of the WAIKATO COAL AND SHIPPING COMPANY (LIMITED), for Allotments 154, 155, and 156, Parish of Taupiri, containing 150 acres, and being the whole of the land included in Vol. xxxii., folio 114, of the Register-book, having been filed in this office, and application having been made for the issue of a provisional certificate for the same, it is my intention to issue such certificate unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 12th day of July next.
