NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 14th day of June, 1885.

Mining Notices.

To the Mining Registrar at Cromwell of the Otago Goldfields Mining District.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-race and divert water for gold-mining or irrigation purposes, commencing at a point in Poison Creek, about three-fourths of a mile distant, above the main road from Cromwell to Wanaka, and terminating on the east bank of the Clutha River, opposite Sandy Point, taking up two small creeks on its course.

Length of race: Two and a half miles or thereabouts.

Mean breadth: 2 feet.

Depth: 1½ feet.

Quantity of water proposed to divert: Four Government-heads.

Time required for construction: Already constructed.

Term for which license required: Fifteen years.

Dated at Cromwell, this 22nd day of April, 1885.
