powers enabling me in that behalf, I, William Francis
Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said colony, order that a road,
one hundred links wide, shall be constructed on or through
Section three hundred and eighty-nine, Block eight, Wairoa
Survey District, being land held or occupied by Native
owners, situated in the County of Patea.

Extending Time for preparing County Rolls, County of
Selwyn.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth
day of April, 1885.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it has been made to appear that certain
things required to be done by "The Counties Act,
1876," in connection with the making and revision of the
county roll of the County of Selwyn cannot be done by or
within the times required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in him by the said "Counties Act,
1876," and by and with the advice and consent of the Execu-
tive Council of the said colony, doth hereby extend the times
for doing the said things in connection with the county roll
of the said County of Selwyn, and doth declare that the
time for the doing of such several things shall be those
which are specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

  1. For the preparation of the county roll: On or before the
    30th April, 1885.
  2. Rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 5th May,
    1885, to the 30th May, 1885.
  3. Objections to rolls received: Until the 31st May, 1885.
  4. Day appointed for revision of roll: Some day on or

after the 1st June, 1885, but Revision Court shall not sit
after the 30th June, 1885.
5. Roll shall come into force: On the 1st July, 1885.

Extending Time for holding Election, Mount Somers Road
District, County of Ashburton.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth
day of April, 1885.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the Council of the County of Ashburton, by
a special order duly made and gazetted the ninth day
of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, altered
the boundaries of the Mount Somers Road District, dissolved
the Road Board thereof, and appointed the fourth day of
May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, to be the
day for holding the election of a new Board for the said
district: And whereas the said election cannot be held on
the said appointed day:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in him by "The Road Boards Act,
1882," and by and with the advice of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the
time for holding an election of a new Board for the aforesaid
Road District of Mount Somers, as fixed by the said special
order, is hereby extended, and that such election may take
place on the eighth day of June, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-five; and, further, that John C. Bell, Esquire,
shall be the Returning Officer to conduct the said election;
and that the first meeting of the new Board shall be held at
the Road Board office, Mount Somers, on the fifteenth day
of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, at
twelve o'clock noon.

Places and Times appointed for Vaccination, Wellington, Lyttelton, Christchurch, and Buller Districts.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several places mentioned in the second column of the
Schedule hereto as and to be the places at which the Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective districts mentioned
in the first column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I
do hereby give notice that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid, for the purpose of
performing such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the
name of each such place; and, further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public Vaccinator will attend, for the
purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated, on the days and at the hours respec-
tively set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each such place.

SCHEDULE.

Wellington The premises of W. C. Fitzgerald, in Manners Street, known as Medical Hall Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Lyttelton Lyttelton Dispensary, Lyttelton Every Wednesday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Every Wednesday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Christchurch The residence of Dr. Preston, Lincoln Every Thursday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Every Thursday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.
Buller The Hospital, Westport Every Friday, from noon until 1 p.m. Every Friday, from noon until 1 p.m.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-third day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-five.
