Mining Notices.
To the Mining Registrar of Roxburgh of the Dunstan Mining District, and all other persons whom it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-race and divert water for the purpose of driving machinery, commencing at a point in the Whitecombe Creek about 500 yards above the crossing of the track to Switzer’s, and terminating at the Whitecombe Creek, about 200 yards below the said track. The length of such race is 700 yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is east and west. The time estimated for its construction is two months. The right is asked for fifteen years. The mean depth of such race is 18 inches, and the mean breadth is 3 feet, and it is intended to divert four Government-heads of water.
