Now, therefore, I, George Marsden Waterhouse, in the
name and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and
authorities in him vested by section eleven of “The Public
Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in
anywise enabling him in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and that, from and
after the day of the date hereof, the land so described shall
become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, dis-
charged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or in-
terests of what kind soever, for use as a road.
SCHEDULE.
ORUAWHARO AND ALBERTLAND ROAD.
Section No. 155.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 2 roods 20 perches, being portion of Section
No. 155 ; commencing at a point on the eastern side of the
road which forms the western boundary of Allotment No.
155 distant 176 links from the north-western corner of the
southern part of Section No. 155 aforesaid. Bounded—
Northerly by lines, 396, 135, and 183 links respectively ;
Southerly by lines, 303 and 420 links respectively ; Westerly
by a line, 103 links, to commencing point.
Section No. 155.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 2 acres and 30 perches, being portion of
Section No. 155 ; commencing at a point on the eastern
boundary of Section No. 155 distant 809 links from the
south-eastern corner of the northern portion of that section.
Bounded—Easterly by a line, 103 links ; Northerly by lines,
1637 and 657 links respectively ; South-westerly by a line,
183 links ; Southerly by lines, 493 and 1587 links respectively,
to commencing point.
Section No. 145.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 1 rood 2 perches, being portion of
Section No. 145 ; commencing at a point on the western
boundary of Section No. 145 distant 538 links from the
north-western corner of the middle portion of Section No.
145 aforesaid. Bounded—Generally Northerly by lines, 37,
2026, and 389 links respectively ; Southerly by lines, 2395
and 71 links respectively ; Westerly by a line, 103 links, to
commencing point.
Section No. 145.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 2 roods 34 perches, being portion of Section
No. 145 ; comencing at a point on the southern boundary of
the northern portion of Section No. 145 distant 1995 links
from its south-western corner. Bounded—Northerly by a
line, 897 links ; Easterly by a line, 100 links ; generally
Southerly by lines, 629 and 389 links respectively, to com-
mencing point.
Section No. 136.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 3 acres and 37·8 perches, being portion of
Section No. 136 ; commencing at a point on the eastern
boundary of Section No. 136 distant 1726 links from its
south-eastern corner. Bounded—Easterly by a line, 106
links ; Northerly by lines, 1614, 975, and 662 links respec-
tively ; Westerly by a line, 100 links ; Southerly by lines, 650,
972, and 1599 links respectively, to commencing point.
Section No. 136.—All those parcels of land containing by
admeasurement 2 acres and 17 perches, being portions of
Section No. 136 ; commencing at a point on the western
boundary of the north-eastern portion of Section No. 136
distant 1726 links from its south-western corner. Bounded—
Westerly by a line, 106 links ; Northerly by lines, 434, 358, and
131 links respectively ; Easterly by a branch of the Whaka-
pirau Creek ; Southerly by lines, 100, 349, and 496 links
respectively, to the commencing point. Also commencing
at a point on the road which forms the north-eastern boun-

boundary of said section distant 327 links from its eastern-

commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of
said section distant 1397 links from its north-western angle.

boundary of said section distant 327 links from the western-

Section No. 129.—Also all those parcels of land containing
by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 36 perches respectively,
being portions of Section No. 129 ; commencing at a point on
the south-western boundary of the middle portion of said
section distant 3076 links from its south-western angle.
Bounded—South-westerly by a line, 110 links ; North-westerly
by a line, 550 links ; North-easterly by the Whakapirau Creek ;
South-easterly by a line, 640 links, to commencing point.
Also commencing at the south-western angle of the middle
portion of said section. Bounded—South-westerly by a line,

Section No. 123.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods, being portion of Section No.
123 ; commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary
of said section distant 450 links from the Whakapirau
Creek. Bounded—Westerly by lines, 183, 110, 247, and
248 links respectively ; North-westerly by lines, 606, 438,
1081, and 580 links respectively ; North-easterly by a line,
50 links ; South-easterly by lines, 1806, 369, and 557 links
respectively ; Easterly by lines, 155, 237, 102, 86, and 120
links respectively, to commencing point.
Section No. 122.—All those parcels of land containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 14 perches, being portions of
Section No. 122 ; commencing at the Whakapirau Creek at
the westernmost angle of said section. Bounded—North-
westerly by a line, 570 links ; North-easterly by a line, 135
links ; South-easterly by a line, 550 links ; South-westerly by
the Whakapirau Creek aforesaid to commencing point.
Also commencing at a point on the road which forms the
north-western boundary of said section distant 581 links
from the north-western angle of said section. Bounded—
South-easterly by lines, 586, 567, 1129, and 127 links re-
spectively ; North-westerly by lines, 1805 and 581 links re-
spectively, to commencing point.
Section No. 112.—All that parcel of land containing by ad-
measurement 3 acres and 12 perches, being portion of Section
No. 112 ; commencing at a point on the road which forms
the south-eastern boundary of said section distant 519 links
from its southernmost angle. Bounded—North-westerly by
lines, 1254 and 1886 links respectively ; North-easterly by a
line, 100 links ; South-easterly by lines, 1918 and 1096 links
respectively ; Southerly by a line, 196 links, to commencing

No. 113 ; commencing at a point on the road which forms
the north-eastern boundary of said section distant 212 links
from its north-western angle. Bounded—North-easterly by
a line, 105 links ; South-easterly by lines, 442 and 47 links
respectively ; Westerly by a line, 128 links ; North-westerly
by a line, 337 links, to commencing point.
Section No. 109.—All that parcel of land containing by
admeasurement 1 acre and 1 perch, being portion of Sec-
tion No. 109 ; commencing at a point on the road which
forms the south-western boundary of said section distant 278
links from its south-western angle. Bounded—North-west-
erly by a line, 1061 links ; Easterly by a line, 125 links ;
South-easterly by a line, 952 links ; South-westerly by a line,
105 links, to commencing point.
The above areas and linkages being either more or less ;
and the several parcels of land being situate in the Parish of
Oruawharo, Albertland South Road District, Provincial Dis-
trict of Auckland ; and are more particularly delineated
upon the plan marked P.W.D. 11393, deposited in the office
of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Pro-
vincial District of Wellington.
