All that area of land partly in the Provincial District of Auckland and partly in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, bounded towards the North-east by the East Cape Native Committee District, hereinbefore described; towards the South-east by the sea; towards the South-west and North-west by the Wellington Provincial District to the 39th parallel of latitude; and towards the North and again towards the North-west by the Opotiki Native Committee District, hereinbefore described; including the adjacent islands.

WHANGANUI.
All that area of land partly in the Provincial District of Taranaki and partly in the Provincial District of Wellington, bounded towards the North-east and North by the Kawhia and Rotorua Native Committee Districts, hereinbefore described; towards the South-east by the Hawke’s Bay Native Committee District, hereinbefore described, and by the Wairarapa West County, as described in “The Counties Act, 1876;” towards the South-west and West by the sea to the mouth of the Wairoa River; and thence by a right line to the summit of Pukemahoe Mountain, and by the production of that line to the Kawhia Native Committee District aforesaid; including the adjacent islands.

All that area of land partly in the Provincial District of Taranaki and partly in the Provincial District of Wellington, bounded towards the South-west and North-west by the sea from the Wairoa River to the White Cliffs; and towards the North-east and East by the Kawhia and Whanganui Native Committee Districts, hereinbefore described.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of “The Licensing Act, 1881,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time alter the limits of any Native licensing districts or abolish the same: And whereas it is expedient to abolish the Native Licensing District of Arai:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance and exercise of all powers enabling him in this behalf, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, doth hereby abolish, from and after the first day of February next, the said Native Licensing District of Arai.

Vesting Reserve in the South Waimakariri River Conservators.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of January, 1884.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto were reserved for river protection: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said lands in the South Waimakariri Board of River Conservators:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section four of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserves shall become vested in the said South Waimakariri Board of River Conservators, in trust, for the protection of the River Waimakariri.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 276 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 2614 (in red), situate in the Rolleston Survey District; and bounded towards the North by Section No. 947 (in red); towards the East by Section No. 8189, 2392 links; towards the South by Section No. 12901 4000 links, by Section No. 25780 3566·2 links, by a line drawn from the north-east corner of the latter section to north-west corner of Section No. 28962 100 links, and also by Section No. 28962, 3948·2 links; and towards the West by Sections Nos. 12901 and 27891, 1875·5 links, and also by a road-line, 375 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: save and excepting thereout the continuation of the road-line dividing Sections Nos. 25780 and 28962 situate within the above-described section; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 60 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2615 (in red), situate in the Rolleston Survey District, and bounded towards the North-east by Section No. 947 (in red); towards the East by a road-line, 909 links; towards the South by Section No. 12662, 3350 links; and towards the West by Section No. 8189, 2425 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.
