Setting apart Land in the Otago Land District for leasing under “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882.”

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fiftieth section of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the block and sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections three to forty-eight of “The Land Act 1877 Amendment Act, 1882.”

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at Dunedin, this sixteenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 164 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, situate in the Tarras Survey District, being Section No. 5, Block XIII., on the map of the said survey district.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day on which the land shall be open for application; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:
And whereas the Land Board of Marlborough did, on the first day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, pass a resolution recommending that the
