Polling-places for General Assembly Elections appointed.

WHEREAS by “The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881,”
it is enacted that the Governor may from time to
time appoint, alter, and abolish polling-places for each elec-
toral district within the limits thereof, and may appoint any
one of such polling-places to be the principal polling-place
of the district, and that no polling-place shall be appointed
unless the Governor shall be first satisfied that the place to
be appointed is more convenient than any other for at least
twenty electors to record their votes thereat;
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint the places mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be
polling-places and principal polling-places for the electoral
districts therein specified.
