All that piece or parcel of land situate in the Borough of Timaru, bounded Northward by Queen Street; Westward by King Street; Southward and Eastward by Reserve No. 344, and being known as Reserve No. 278.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of June, 1884.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto was reserved for a gravel-pit: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said land in the Road Board of the Courtenay District:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve shall become vested in the Road Board of the Courtenay District, in trust, for a gravel-pit.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 37 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 2619 (in red), situate in the Selwyn Survey District. Bounded towards the North by a road-line, 1840 links; towards the East by Section No. 27299, 2455 links; towards the South by the River Selwyn; and towards the West by Section No. 12641 and a line in continuation of the eastern boundary of said section, 2000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; save and excepting there-out a road-line; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the Mackenzie County, in trust, for plantation purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 96 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2586 (in red), situate in the Tengawai Survey District. Bounded towards the North-east by Section No. 33202, 2405 links; towards the South-east by Section No. 30676, 4001 links; towards the South-west by a road-line, 2405 links; and towards the North-west by a road-line, 4001 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the Governor by “The Public Health Act, 1876,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination districts known as the Winton and Gore Districts; and do declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into three vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be the Lumsden, Winton, and Gore Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Marriage Act, 1880.”
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth section of “The Land Act, 1877,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land District of Canterbury, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 97 acres, more or less being Section No. 2638 (in red), situate in the Christchurch Survey District. Bounded towards the North by the continuation of the road-line separating Section No. 33003 from Reserve No. 2340, 1760 links; towards the East by the reserve 5 chains wide along high-water mark, 7700 links; towards the South by the road-line north of Section No. 35372, 1200 links; and towards the West by Reserve No. 2637 (in red), 8200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a reserve for planting purposes.
Also all that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 15 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2636 (in red), situate in the Christchurch Survey District. Bounded towards the North by Section No. 33491, 1500 links; towards the East by the reserve 5 chains wide along high-water mark, 1000 links; towards the South by Section No. 35475, 1500 links; and towards the West by Section No. 1579 (in red), 1000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a reserve for planting purposes.
