Land taken for Waitaki-Bluff Railway (Portion of Branch from Main Line to Duntrroon).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a part of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, namely, portion of branch from main line to Duntrroon:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 12 perches, being portion of Section No. 9, Block IV.; commencing at a point in said section 186 links distant from the westernmost angle. Bounded as follows: North-easterly by a line, 1246 links; South-easterly by a line, 212 links; South-westerly by a public road to commencing point, 840 links.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 12 perches, being portion of Section No. 18, Block IV.; commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of said section 632 links distant from the north-easternmost angle. Bounded as follows: North-easterly by a public road, 368 links; Northerly by the northern boundary of said section, 965 links; South-westerly and Southerly by lines to commencing point, 90, 147, 150, 389, and 564 links respectively.
Be all the above areas and linkages either more or less; the several parcels of land being situate in the Maruwhenua District, Provincial District of Otago; and are more particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D. 11321, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Auckland, this twelfth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Canterbury Interior Main Line of Railway, namely, West Oxford Contract:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land containing 10 acres 2 roods, situate in the Survey District of Oxford, Provincial District of Canterbury, being portion of Rural Section No. 23918, commencing at a point on the western boundary of said section 2192 links distant from the south-west corner thereof. Bounded as follows: Westerly by the western boundary of said section, 887 links; Northerly by the River Eyre; Easterly by the eastern boundary of said section, 912 links; South-easterly by land already acquired for railway purposes, 1327 links; North-westerly by land already acquired for railway purposes, 30 links; North-westerly by land already acquired for railway purposes to commencing point, 337 links: be the above areas and linkages either more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated upon the plan marked P.W.D.
