GISBORNE DISTRICT.
IN the matter of a judgment of the Court given at Wai-
pawa, Ahuriri, in the said district, on the 1st day of
October, 1883, upon the hearing of claims to succeed to the
interests of Te Waaka Kawatini in certain blocks of land
situate in the said district and known as “Tangoio” and
Pakuratahi”: and in the matter of the application of Hai-
meniu Pititi and others for a rehearing upon such succession
claims:
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me,
do hereby dismiss such application.

pawa, Ahuriri, i te Takiwa o Kihipane, i te 1 o nga ra o
Oketopa, 1883, i runga hoki i te whakaturanga o etahi kereme
kia whakaritea he riwhi mo nga hea o Te Waaka Kawatini,
i roto o etahi pihi whenua i taua takiwa, ko “Tangoio” ko
“Pakuratahi,” hoki nga ingoa o aua whenua:

nei ki ahau mo taua mahi, ka whakakahore atu nei i taua
tono.

in the said district on the 10th day of December, 1883,
upon the hearing of a claim for the investigation of title to
land situate in the said district and known as “Whaitiri;”
and in the matter of the application of Arapera Pere and
others for a rehearing upon part of such block (Whaitiri
No. 2?).
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me,
do hereby dismiss such application.

NOTICE is hereby given that John Edwin Macdonald,
Esquire, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court, has,
by virtue of the power vested in him, ordered that the sitting
of this Court at Maketu, previously adjourned by him to the
8th day of May next, be further adjourned to the 5th day of
June, 1884.
It is also further notified that, in the event of there being
no judges available for the sitting on the 5th day of June
next, the Court will be further adjourned, of which due notice
will be given.

hei Kaiwhakawa mo taua tuunga Kooti a te 5 o nga ra o
Hune i whakahuatia nei, ka whakanukuhia rawatia taua
Kooti ki tetahi ake ra; a, ko reira puta ai he panui hou kia
mohiotia ai te ra e tu ai taua Kooti.
