Land Transfer Act Notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1870,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same.

  1. JAMES NELSON WILLIAMS, Applicant.—3,233 acres, more or less, part of Subdivision D of the Heretaunga Block 28N, Hawke’s Bay, known as the Frimley Estate. Occupied by Applicant. Caveat may be lodged on or before the 20th October, 1884.

  2. WILLIAM FORESTER SHAW, Applicant.—1 rood, Allotment 18, Frasertown, Wairoa. Unoccupied. Caveat may be lodged within one calendar month after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

Mining Notices.

To the Mining Registrar at Naseby of the Mining District of Mount Ida, and all other Persons whom it may concern.

TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a Water-race and divert water for the purposes of irrigation. The point of commencement of such race is in Crossan’s Gully, near Wedderburn; the point of termination is the western boundary of Section 5, Block VII., Naseby District.

The course of such race is east and west; the length of such race is about half a mile, its mean breadth 18 inches, and its mean depth 12 inches.

It is proposed to divert two Government-heads of water.

The race is already constructed, and passes through unsurveyed lands. An area of 2 feet on both sides of such race, and immediately adjoining thereto, throughout the whole length thereof, will be required for the purpose of depositing matter removed from such race.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has for some time past existed between GEORGE BOOTH and GEORGE THOMAS BOOTH, under the style or firm of “George Booth and Sons,” at Christchurch, in the Provincial District of Canterbury, in the trade or business of Implement Importers and Merchants, is this day dissolved by mutual consent.

The said business will be continued, for purposes of liquidation, under the name of George Booth and Sons, by the said George Booth, to whom all accounts due to the late firm must be paid, and by whom all accounts owing by the late firm will be discharged.
