Special Order made by Rodney County Council.—Dissolving Omaha Road Board and altering Boundaries of Ridings.

THE following special order, made by the Rodney County Council, is published in accordance with “The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT the Omaha Road Board be dissolved.
That the boundaries of the Mahurangi and Mangawai Ridings be altered by taking from the latter and adding to the former all that portion of the Parish of Pakiri that is included in the Omaha Road District.
That the election of a Road Board (to consist of five members) for the Omaha District be held in the Public Hall, Little Omaha, on Monday, the 5th May; that the first meeting of the new Board be held at the same place at noon on Monday, the 12th May; and that Mr. William Greenwood be Clerk and Returning Officer.
I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made in accordance with the law.

THE following special order, made by the Waiwakaiho Road Board, is published in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT, notwithstanding the provisions of “The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876,” all elections of members of the Board shall be conducted in the manner provided by section 49 of “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”
I hereby certify that the above special order has been duly passed by the Waiwakaiho Road Board on the 29th March, 1884.

Special Order made by Rangitikei County Council.—Altering Representation of Clifton and Paraekaretu Ridings.

THE following special order, made by the Rangitikei County Council, is published in accordance with “The Counties Act 1876 Amendment Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
THE following special order was passed at a meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held at the Council Chambers, High Street, Marton, on Saturday, the 5th day of April, 1884:—
Resolved, That the Rangitikei County Council doth, by this special order, alter the number of Councillors to be elected by the Clifton and Paraekaretu Ridings in the said county, and doth determine that the Clifton Riding shall elect one Councillor, and the Paraekaretu Riding shall elect two Councillors.
This special order shall come into force only at the next general election of the Council, and at such earlier period and to such extent as may be necessary for preparing any roll or otherwise providing for such election.
I certify that the above special order has been duly made as by law required.
