“Friendly Societies Act, 1882.”—Advertisement of Dissolution by Instrument.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Loyal Naseby Lodge, Manchester Unity, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Friendly Society, Register No. 61, held at Naseby, is dissolved by instrument, registered at this office the 11th day of March, 1884, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having any claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

Gold Fields Notices.

Gold-Mining Lease to be granted.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of “The Mines Act, 1877,” and with the regulations made under that Act for the granting of leases for gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections against such lease.

Objections to the granting of such lease, stating the grounds of objection, must be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden at Queenstown on or before the 15th day of April, 1884.

Copy of the application made and plan annexed may be seen at the Warden’s Office at Queenstown.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Matthew Fitzpatrick. Style under which it is intended to conduct the business: “Fitzpatrick’s.” 3 acres, Arthur’s Point, in the Wakatipu Mining District.

Given under my hand, at Dunedin, this fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
